How Parasite works
Launch a coin in seconds. Every coin trades on its own bonding curve, then graduates to a real DEX.
Launch a coin
Pick a name, ticker and image. Your coin is created on Solana with a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens, and nobody gets a free allocation. If you want some at launch, you buy them like everyone else (the optional "dev buy"). Creating a coin only costs the small Solana network fees.
Trade on the bonding curve
Every coin starts at a market cap of 30 SOL. Buying moves the price up along a fixed curve and selling moves it down, so you can always buy or sell with no waiting for a counterparty. Each trade has a flat 1.25% fee.
Graduation
When a coin reaches a 400 SOL market cap, its curve is complete. Our bot instantly moves all of its liquidity to a Meteora DEX pool, where the liquidity is locked forever. Nobody, including us, can pull it. From then on it trades on Jupiter and every Solana DEX.
Where the fees go
Of the 1.25% trading fee, Meteora (the protocol the curves run on) keeps 20%. Parasite receives the rest (about 1.00% of every trade), plus trading fees from graduated coins' locked liquidity. That income is split 50/50: 50% goes to the team, and 50% goes to an earnings treasury that buys back the Parasite token. This split may change based on community feedback. Coin creators don't receive a share of trading fees.
Airdrops to traders
The tokens the treasury buys back are locked publicly every day, then airdropped at a random time to the people trading on Parasite. Each wallet gets 0.25% of its dollar trading volume on Parasite coins since the last airdrop, paid in the Parasite token, with no maximum. To qualify, a wallet needs at least $1,000 of volume since the last airdrop ($1,000 traded = $2.50 worth of tokens; $10,000 = $25.00). Volume below the minimum doesn't carry over. Airdrops aren't guaranteed and can change or stop at any time.
Everything is public
Every fee claim, buyback and treasury balance is shown live on the Treasury page, with links to the transactions on Solscan.
